Meet Our Resident Acting Company

  • Amy Rene Byrne

    (She/ Her/ Hers)

    Amy Rene Byrne is a Tennessee native and a proud Pennsylvania transplant. She earned her MFA in Acting from West Virginia University in 2012 and joined BTE as Education Director in 2015. In 2016 she also became an Affiliate Artist and in 2019 she began her candidacy for the Ensemble and became an official member in 2020 (some good things did come out of 2020). Amy has acted in Tennessee, West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. She has taught theatre at Lycoming College, Zane State College, and West Virginia University and has appeared in various television commercials and voice-over roles.

  • Elizabeth Dowd

    (She/ Her/ Hers)

    Elizabeth Dowd is part of the Resident Acting Company at BTE She arrived in Bloomsburg 45 years ago to join the then fledgling company and has had the privilege, pleasure, and responsibility to support its emergence through her work as a an actor, director, teacher, and in shared leadership roles. Originally from the Chicago area, she has long called Bloomsburg 'home.'

  • Aaron White

    (He/ Him/ His)

    Aaron White has been a working theatermaker for the past two decades and has a cobbled together a multi-faceted career as an actor, director, educator, choreographer, fight choreographer, songwriter, set/puppet designer and sometime portrait artist. A native son of lower Northumberland County, Aaron spent his twenties attempting to escape Central Pennsylvania to earn artistic laurels in the wider world. He passed through Baltimore, Houston, New York, Pittsburgh and points in between.

  • Kimie Muroya 室屋季美恵

    (She/ Her/ Hers)

    Kimie is delighted to be your Resident Acting Company Candidate for the season! Most recently you may have seen her in Witch; The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe; and A Christmas Carol, and now she’s back for more. Though most recently from Philadelphia, she went to high school in Lewisburg and interacted with BTE throughout her time there - seeing shows at the Alvina Krause Theatre, participating in workshops, and even performing in one of the summer shows! Since graduating college, she’s spent the last seven years building a professional acting career, performing with many companies in the Philadelphia area, co-founding the Philadelphia Asian Performing Artists, and even dabbling in some commercial and film work. Meet Our Theatremaker Apprentices

  • Arrianna Daniels

    (She/ Her/ Hers)

    Arrianna Daniels is a versatile performer with a 2020 DeSales University graduation. She has worked with Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, People's Light Theatre, Winnipesaukee Playhouse, River Union Stage, and New York's Rogue Theatre Festival in various roles.

  • Bruce Gomez

    (He/ Him/ His)

    Bruce Gomez earned a BA in Theater Performance from Susquehanna University in Spring 2022. During the summer of 2022, he trained at the Powerhouse Theater Training Program at Vassar College, where he took on notable roles such as Van Helsing in Dracula, Hastings in She Stoops to Conquer, and Ferdinand in The Tempest.

  • Diamond Gloria Marrow

    (She/ Her/ Hers)

    Diamond Gloria Marrow recently received her BA in Theater Performance from Susquehanna University. After 10 years of academic theater, she is ready to start her professional career at BTE. Diamond is grateful for her 4 years of training at SU and promises her mentors she will "shine bright like a..." never mind.
