Film Noir Gala:
A Night of Mystery and Glamour

Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble debuts its 48th season with The 39 Steps, Patrick Barlow’s adaptation of the Alfred Hitchcock movie and comedic love letter to the film noir genre. In honor of this beloved romp, BTE invites you to attend The 39 Steps opening night celebration, the Film Noir Gala on Saturday, September 27th.

Before heading in to watch The 39 Steps’ premiere performance, gala attendees will enjoy lovely tapas, artisan mocktails, and more in the open air of Center Street. After the show, guests can participate in a dazzling auction featuring prizes like an overnight trip to Philadelphia and a J Lylo gift card.

Evening Attire

Tuxedos are not required. Join the spirit of the affair with vintage flair or noir-inspired touches. A sleek dress, suit, or even an accessory like pearls, fedoras, or a red lip will set the mood perfectly.
