What Does This Mean?

All of our previous ticketing options are going away (senior price, child price, student discount). If you used to purchase tickets in one of those categories, you can either simply select the tier that is most comparable to that previous price, or choose a different tier.
 

Subscriptions and Flex Packages are also going away, but you can still purchase tickets in advance to make sure you get the seats you want! Call our Box Office or purchase tickets Online.

  • That depends completely on what you are able to pay! That varies per person and sometimes per day. We want everyone to be able to see theatre without it creating a burden financially. 

  • We cannot do this work without you! Selecting a higher tier helps BTE to sustain our programming across production costs and the ability to continue to make accessible theatre for all!

  • Purchasing tickets above our “Recommended Ticket Price” helps us to offer subsidized pricing for those in our community who cannot afford regional or rural theatre prices, offsets rising production costs, and ensures a future for BTE’s 50th Season and beyond!

  • Although we have paused Flex Packages, you can still purchase Mainstage tickets ahead of time on any tier price! However, Presented Event tickets must be purchased separately and are not offered at Sliding Scale pricing.

    If you wish to secure your preferred seating for the whole season, you can book your seats early online or call our Box Office!

  • Mainstage productions are BTE-produced and performed by our Resident Artists. Presented Events are not produced by BTE, but are hosted at our Alvina Krause Theatre. This allows BTE to expose our Bloomsburg community to more local and national artists.

  • Your ticket purchase is not a direct donation. Our higher tiered pricing reflects the average cost of theatre tickets, but are still lower than local regional markets like Philly, Pittsburgh, DC, and New York. The higher ticket tiers also helps to subsidize ticket pricing for those in our community who cannot afford regular pricing but still desire the benefits of theatre.
