BTE Presented Event:

Gracie Curran & The High Faultin’ Band

Saturday, June 6
7:30 PM
$25/Admission

Rooted Here. Imagined for Everywhere.

If you haven’t seen “force of nature” (The Boston Globe) and Briggs Farm Blues Festival standout Gracie Curran & The High Faultin’ Band yet, your chance is coming on Saturday, June 6th when this celebrated funky blues band comes to our stage!

Fans of Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse, Alabama Shakes, and Elvis will fall in love with Gracie Curran’s Boston Music Award-winning “rich and voluptuous voice” (La Hora Del Blues) and dynamic stage presence.

“To be a blues professional you have to be able to sell a song,” wrote critic Rhetta Akamatsu for Examiner.com, “and Curran can do that. You need a great back-up band, and she has that. But you need to be able to connect to the audience most of all, and Curran seems to do that as easily as she breathes.”

Admission is $25. Show begins at 7:30 PM, with the lobby opening at 6:30 PM

PRAISE FOR GRACIE CURRAN

“Come Undone is all about Curran’s voice, which has a bluesy rasp but a pure-rock energy.”
— STEVE OVADIA, AMERICAN BLUES SCENE

“Occasionally a vocalist comes along with such a presence that they command everyones undivided attention. Such is the case with Bostons Gracie Curran….Elements of soul, blues, gospel and funk coalesce to create a moving and heartfelt experience”
—  GREG “BLUESDOG” SZALONY, BLUES BLAST MAGAZINE

That soulfully-intense voice is the glue that holds everything together
— SHERYL AND DON CROW, THE NASHVILLE BLUES AND ROOTS ALLIANCE

“The High Falutin' Band cleverly support the rich and voluptuous voice of Gracie Curran.”
LA HORA DEL BLUES

“Gracie Curran has a powerhouse vocal that drives a high pulse and drains the emotional bucket dry. She and her band have only been together three years but it appears they causing quite a stir Stateside, notably in their base of Boston and on the East Coast. The high temperature mix of the electric guitar forward line, funky backdrop and ballsy vocal from the boss lady gives the whole package an innovative vibrancy”
—  BLUES MATTER! (UK)

“We hope not to have another 6 years for a 3rd release of this sparkling soul diva. This album is too good to put our impatience to the test for too long!”
—  ROOTSTIME MAGAZINE (BELGIUM)
