Theatre in the Classroom
TIC shows are traditionally original works presented in an animated story-theatre style featuring imaginative props, costumes, music, and student participation followed by a lively post-performance discussion. Our TIC performances have been seen by hundreds of thousands of kids in “gymacafetoriums” since 1978.

Theatre School
BTE Theatre School offers a range of classes, workshops, and camps designed to teach the fundamentals of the theater arts on an age-appropriate basis: critical reading, aesthetic analysis, creative thinking and problem solving, collaboration, theatre technology, oral interpretation, movement, and more.

Project Discovery
Project Discovery is BTE's comprehensive theatre education program with a simple yet powerful mission: make sure every student from every high school in the five counties surrounding Bloomsburg attends professional performances by the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble at least once a year free of charge.

High School Theatre Workshop Day
Each fall we host area high school students for a day of workshops taught by industry professionals. Topics include: acting and audition techniques, dialects, musical theatre and dance, stage makeup, and technical theatre.

High School Internship
Step behind the curtain with BTE’s High School Internship Program (Sept 2025–June 2026)—where students in grades 9–12 dive into real productions, rotate through every corner of the theatre, work side-by-side with professionals, and take center stage with a final project of their own!
