Managing Director

Jon White-Spunner started his theatre career in South Africa where he worked as a lighting designer, Stage and Company Manager for several touring shows, and then as Managing Director of His Majesty’s Theatre in Johannesburg. Between 1980 and 1992, Jon served as General Manager and then Managing Trustee of the world famous Market Theatre. Since moving to the United States in 1992, in addition to his time with Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble, he served as Managing Director and Manager of Community Outreach at Stoneham Theatre (now Greater Boston Stage Company) in Boston. In 1996 he co-founded 24th Street Theatre (now in its 27th season) in Los Angeles.

Communications Director

Jared is a multifaceted theater artist based in Williamsport, PA. Born and raised in Williamsport, Jared studied theater in Pittsburgh. Jared is founder and Artistic Director of Studio 570, a boutique, found space theater company in Williamsport PA. Currently Jared runs a theater arts program in South Williamsport, PA and works in regional theaters located on the East Coast.

Education Director

Abigail Leffler is a Bloomsburg native. She earned her B.A. in Theatre Arts with a Performance Emphasis from Bloomsburg University. She has been no stranger to BTE. After college, she did an extensive acting internship with us. She has written and performed in many of our Theatre in the Classroom shows. Abigail has been teaching since January 2011 and she is so happy to be at BTE teaching students of all ages.

Office Manager

Tanner Lenhart is a NEPA native, originally from the small town of Benton. Tanner began working with BTE as a child, with his first Mainstage production, Truman Capote's "Holiday Memories" and has since worked on numerous shows both on and off stage. He was seen most recently in our Theatre in the Classroom tour of "Patchworks: Lives and Legends of the Coal Towns" and as Fred/Young Scrooge in 2022's production of Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol. Tanner has worked with just about every other department in the theatre, so he is thrilled to finally be joining the administrative team and continuing his learning in the world of theatre!

Box Office Manager

Rory held management or production roles at various theaters - including San Jose Repertory Theatre; City Lights Theatre Company; Hershey Entertainment & Resorts; and Bradford County Regional Arts Council - before becoming the Box Office & Office Manager at BTE. He holds a BA from Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg and an MA from San José State University (where he taught Introduction to Theatre and appeared in the 2013 film Always Learning). He enjoys all aspects of 1980s popular culture.
