DIRECTORS’ LOG

STARDATE 0219.18

THE TIME: TWELVE HUNDRED HOURS

THE WEATHER: CHILLY WITH A CHANCE OF SNOWBALLS

Amy Rene Byrne, co-director, reporting on TIC progress. The show is going… well, to risk sounding braggadocios, the show is going GREAT! It is smart, and silly, and intelligent, and wacky, and witty and weird. Our cast members’ training is proving invaluable to the process. They are smart, these recruits. They will make us proud.

In Honor of Opportunity

As a group we’d like to take a moment to thank the Opportunity Mars Rover for its service to NASA. The little rover that could was only estimated to last 90 days in the Martian climate. But our buddy made it 15 YEARS! By sending us hundreds of thousands of images of Mars, Opportunity reshaped our understanding of the planet. In June a dust storm left Opportunity’s solar panels covered in dust and unable to recharge its batteries— which was the beginning of an honorable end for our little friend. THANK YOU!
