Richie has been a member at BTE for twelve seasons, but he first appeared as an intern, playing Benvolio in Romeo & Juliet. Since then, he’s been in Romeo and Juliet twice more (once as Tybalt, another time as The Nurse, don’t ask). A short time later, he played the drunken Borachio in BTE’s Much Ado About Nothing, and then Flute in a low-rent Shakespeare in the Park. You may have also seen him at BTE as the leather-clad Laertes in Hamlet, or as Silvius in As You Like It. Or maybe you recognize him as Banquo from MacBeth, or Launcelot in The Merchant of Venice? No? Well, he directed A Midsummer Night’s Dream at BTE twice, you know? Oh, and he was Brutus in Julius Caesar, remember? BRUTUS?! Still nothing? Okay. He played Georgia McBride. Yeah, that guy. Richie lives in a bungalow with his family and their cats.
