Project Discovery - 2010/2011

Project Discovery is a comprehensive matinee program with a simple yet powerful mission: make sure every 10th, 11th, and 12th grade student from every high school in the five counties surrounding Bloomsburg attend professional performances by the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble at least once a year - FREE. Our goals are simple:

Support educators in meeting arts education mandates
By graduation, each student will have been to the theatre at least three times]
Help students develop the "well rounded mind" essential for success in today's world

Since 1994, over 40,000 students have experienced theatre at BTE through the Project Discovery program. This landmark program is funded by corporations, businesses, foundations, and individuals. Theatre tickets and all expenses are provided to schools at no cost.
