The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and Industrious Angels

Our flagship educational program provides FREE matinees to high school students in the five-county region surrounding Bloomsburg—completely funded by the generous contributions of individuals, businesses, foundations, and corporations.

Since its inception in 1994, over 48,000 students have seen Project Discovery productions. It’s common that these performances are the first time students witness live theatre.

What your contribution makes possible:

Every $9.50 of your Project Discovery contribution ensures one student’s admission to professional theatre and helps us reach our program’s goals:

  • Make theatre available to all students regardless of financial status, academic standing, or location

  • Provide teachers with curriculum-based study guides, thereby enhancing their students’ theatre experience

  • Help students develop the well-rounded mind essential for success in today’s world

BTE - The Diary of Anne Frank 2017.jpg
There is an immediacy and intimacy between actor and audience that can only happen in live theatre. For most of my students this was their first taste of live theatre and for many it will be the only one they will every attend.
